Featuring 12V electric latch retraction, it allows the latch to be withdrawn remotely for free passage, momentary release, or integration with access control and automatic operators. The ETJ trim provides fail safe operation, meaning a loss of power unlocks the lever for egress, making it ideal for secured corridors and stairwells. Designed for doors measuring 33 to 36 inches wide, this fire-rated device ships less cylinder and less dogging to meet code requirements for fire door assemblies while delivering durable, long-term performance.

Features

Electric latch retraction operates on 12V for remote latch control and automatic operator compatibility.

Fire rated construction suited for labeled fire door openings.

ETJ fail safe trim unlocks the outside lever when power is removed.

Sized for doors ranging from 33 to 36 inches in width.

Supplied less cylinder, allowing you to specify your preferred keying.

Less dogging, as required for fire-rated applications.

Rim-type mounting for straightforward installation on single or paired doors.

Functional Details

Electric latch retraction (ELR) uses a built-in motor to retract the latch bolt electrically, permitting push/pull operation of the door without mechanical dogging.
