Built with electric latch retraction (ELR), it allows the latch to be withdrawn electronically for momentary or sustained free access, while the fail safe design unlocks the J-style lever on power loss to support secure egress during emergencies. Designed for doors measuring 37 to 42 inches wide, this device ships less cylinder and less dogging to meet fire-rated code requirements. Operating on 12V, it pairs reliable Grade 1 performance with the durable ETJ lever trim for demanding institutional and commercial environments.

Features

Fire rated rim exit device suitable for labeled door openings where dogging is not permitted.

Electric latch retraction allows the latch bolt to be retracted electronically for remote or scheduled access.

Fail safe operation unlocks the lever when power is removed, ensuring access during a power failure.

Sized for doors 37 to 42 inches in width.

Supplied without a cylinder for keying flexibility during installation.

Operates on 12V DC power.

ETJ lever trim with J design for comfortable, ADA-compliant operation.

Grade 1 construction built for heavy-duty commercial and institutional use.

Functional Details

Electric latch retraction uses an internal motor to pull the latch bolt in, allowing push/pull operation without actuating the touchbar.
