Built with electric latch retraction (ELR), it allows the latch to be retracted electronically for momentary or extended free access, then returns to a locked state when power is removed. Configured for fail secure operation, the lever remains locked during a power loss, maintaining security on the opening. Designed for 33 to 36 inch wide doors and supplied without a cylinder and less dogging, this device pairs rugged Sargent construction with the ETJ trim and 12V operation for dependable, code-compliant performance.

Features

Fire rated rim exit device suitable for labeled door openings requiring positive latching.

Electric latch retraction allows the latch to be remotely retracted for controlled access.

Fail secure operation keeps the lever locked when power is removed for continuous security.

Sized for doors measuring 33 to 36 inches in width.

Supplied with ETJ lever trim for exterior operation.

Furnished without a cylinder, allowing use of a preferred keying system.

Less dogging configuration as required for fire rated applications.

Operates on 12V power for integration with access control systems.

Functional Details

Electric latch retraction uses an internal motor to pull back the latch electronically, permitting push/pull access without physically operating the device.
