Built with fail safe operation, the outside ETP lever unlocks whenever power is removed, making it ideal for openings that must release during a power loss or fire alarm event. As a fire rated device, it comes less dogging to maintain the latching required for fire-rated openings. The rim-mounted design installs on single doors and supports controlled access with the J (ETP) lever trim, delivering dependable performance for commercial, institutional, and high-traffic applications where safety and durability are priorities.

Features

Electrified rim exit device for single door applications sized 37 to 42 inches wide.

Fail safe operation unlocks the outside lever when power is removed from the device.

Fire rated construction provides the latching required for labeled door assemblies.

Supplied less dogging to meet fire-rated opening code requirements.

Operates on 12V for compatibility with common access control power systems.

ETP (J) lever trim offers controlled access from the outside.

Functional Details

In a fail safe configuration, the device keeps the outside lever locked while energized and releases it when power is interrupted, allowing entry during a power failure or emergency.
