It combines Electric Latch Retraction (ELR) with a fail-safe design, meaning that when power is removed, the outside lever unlocks to allow free access—an ideal configuration for secure entries that require safe egress during power loss. Built with the durable ETL (lever) trim and hex key dogging for mechanical hold-back, this Grade 1 device delivers dependable performance in high-traffic commercial and institutional settings. Operating on 24V, it integrates smoothly with access control systems while maintaining reliable code-compliant exit operation.

Features

Electric Latch Retraction (ELR) allows remote unlatching for access control integration.

Fail-safe operation unlocks the outside lever when power is removed.

Designed specifically for wide doors from 43 to 48 inches.

Hex key dogging provides secure mechanical latch hold-back.

Grade 1 rim exit device built for demanding commercial use.

24V operation for compatibility with modern electrified hardware systems.

ETL lever trim provides durable, code-compliant exterior operation.

Functional Details

This device uses Electric Latch Retraction to electrically withdraw the latch for remote or momentary access, while the fail-safe mode ensures the outside lever becomes operable whenever power is interrupted, supporting safe egress and controlled entry.

Electric Latch Retraction (ELR)

Fail Safe: Outside lever unlocked when power is removed

24 VDC operation

For doors 43" to 48" in width

Arm Type Details

The ETL trim is a lever-style outside trim that controls access through the outside lever.
