Built for door widths between 43 and 48 inches, it features electric latch retraction (ELR) powered by a 12V supply, allowing remote operation and integration with access control systems. This fail secure configuration keeps the lever locked when power is lost, while a key retracts the latch for authorized entry. The ETJ trim provides a durable lever design, and the device ships less cylinder and less dogging. Its fire-rated construction makes it suitable for labeled door assemblies demanding both life safety and security.

Features

Electric latch retraction (ELR) enables remote unlatching and controlled access.

Fail secure operation locks the lever when power is removed for added security.

Fire-rated construction suitable for labeled door openings.

Sized for 43" to 48" wide doors.

ETJ (J) lever trim offers durable, ergonomic operation.

Key retracts the latch for authorized mechanical entry.

Supplied less cylinder and less dogging.

Operates on a 12V power supply.

Functional Details

The 56-8876 ELR function uses an electric motor to retract the latch, allowing the door to be pushed or pulled open freely when energized by the access control system.
