Designed for 43" to 48" door widths, it features electric latch retraction (ELR) powered at 24V, allowing the latch to be retracted remotely for controlled access and push/pull operation during business hours. Configured as fail safe, the latch releases on power loss to support egress and life-safety requirements. The ETJ night latch trim provides exterior access, while the less-cylinder (LC) prep lets you supply the mortise cylinder of your choice. With grade 1 construction, this device delivers reliable performance in high-traffic access-controlled environments.

Features

Electric latch retraction (ELR) allows remote retraction of the latchbolt for access control and momentary or extended unlocking.

Fail safe operation releases the latch on loss of power to support safe egress.

Sized for 43" to 48" door widths, making it suitable for wide commercial openings.

Operates on 24V DC for compatibility with common access control power supplies.

Less cylinder (LC) prep lets you install a preferred mortise cylinder.

Grade 1 rated for durability in high-use applications.

Rim-mounted design for straightforward installation on single and double doors.

Functional Details

The 8875 ELR function uses an internal motor to retract and hold the latch, enabling free push/pull access when energized.
