This 12-volt fail secure trim keeps the lever locked when power is removed, so the opening stays protected during a power loss while still allowing key override. It features the ET control with the MJ lever design and accepts a large format interchangeable core (LFIC), shipped less core to suit your existing keying system. Durable construction and ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 performance make it a dependable choice for schools, healthcare, and institutional facilities.

Features

Electrified exit device trim designed for Sargent 80 Series exit devices.

12-volt fail secure operation keeps the outside lever locked when power is lost.

Key retracts latch for mechanical override and controlled entry.

ET control with MJ lever styling for a clean, durable appearance.

Large format interchangeable core (LFIC) compatibility, supplied less core.

ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 rated for heavy-duty commercial use.

Compatibility — Use with SARGENT 80 Series 8800, 8500, and NB8700, PP8700, PR8700 and SP8700 configurations that use the -8 cross-type spindle.

Functional Details

In a fail secure configuration, the outside lever remains locked when the trim is de-energized, requiring a valid key or energized signal to allow entry.
