Built on Sargent's durable 80 Series platform, it delivers fail secure operation, meaning a power loss keeps the outside ETJ lever locked while free egress is always available from the inside. Designed for doors measuring 33 to 36 inches wide, this device ships without a cylinder and includes hex key dogging for convenient mechanical latch hold-back during peak hours. Running on 24V power, it integrates cleanly with access control systems, making it a dependable choice for schools, healthcare facilities, offices, and other buildings requiring controlled entry.

Features

Electrified rim exit device for surface-mounted single or double door applications.

Fail secure operation locks the outside lever when power is removed.

ETJ night latch trim with lever handle for controlled outside access.

Sized for doors from 33 to 36 inches in width.

Hex key dogging allows the latch to be held retracted for push-pull operation.

Supplied without a cylinder, letting you match existing keying systems.

Operates on 24V DC for integration with electronic access control.

Functional Details

In fail secure mode, the device relies on power to unlock the outside lever.
