Built for doors measuring 33 to 36 inches wide, it combines Sargent's rugged 8800 Series construction with 12V fail-safe electrification, meaning the lever unlocks automatically when power is removed for safe egress during an emergency. This configuration ships less cylinder for flexible keying and features the ETJ lever trim, where a key retracts the latch for controlled access. As a fire-rated device, it comes less dogging to maintain positive latching required for fire-rated assemblies. It's a dependable choice for high-traffic access-controlled entrances.

Features

Electrified rim exit device rated for fire door assemblies requiring positive latching.

Fail-safe operation unlocks the outside lever when power is removed, allowing immediate egress.

12V DC operating voltage for compatibility with standard access control systems.

ETJ lever trim allows key-controlled latch retraction from the outside.

Sized for doors 33 to 36 inches in width.

Supplied less cylinder, letting you key the device to an existing system.

Less dogging to preserve fire-rated latching integrity.

Durable 8800 Series design built for demanding commercial use.

Functional Details

The 8875 function provides fail-safe electrified operation.
