This electrified version operates on 12 volts and uses a fail safe function, meaning the outside trim unlocks when power is removed to support secure egress and emergency access planning. It ships with the ETB electrified trim featuring the B lever design, and comes less cylinder for flexible keying and less dogging as required for fire rated applications. As a mortise device, it delivers the durability and positive latching demanded by heavy-use doors while meeting fire door assembly requirements.

Features

Grade 1 mortise exit device rated for the most demanding commercial openings.

Fire rated construction suitable for labeled fire door assemblies.

Electrified 12V trim with fail safe operation for controlled access and reliable egress.

Sized for doors measuring 43 to 48 inches in width.

Supplied with ETB electrified trim and the B lever style.

Furnished less cylinder, allowing you to specify your own keying.

Less dogging as required for fire rated performance.

Functional Details

This 12V DC electrified ET trim operates in fail safe mode. With power removed, the outside lever is unlocked. Applying power locks the outside lever. When unlocked, turning the outside lever retracts the mortise latch. Operating the inside push rail permits egress regardless of the electrical state of the trim.
