 The Yale 6100-P-36" 630 Rim Exit Device Exit Only With Electric Latch Retraction Satin Stainless Steel Finish The 6100-P-36" 630 Is a Commercial Grade One Panic Bar with Electric Latch retraction. The 6100-P 36" Exit Device Is Designed for wide stile doors and Has a 3/4" throw deadlocking stainless steel Pullman latch bolt. The Yale 6100-P Is Non-Handed. Non-Rated ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1 certified. Yale 6100-P uses Hex Key Dogging, for Use Non-Rated Doors. Listings UL/cUL listed for panic and fire exit hardware. Fire-rated devices must be wired into an automatic fire alarm system. The 36" bar works for doors 33"-36" wide. 

Electric Latch Retraction P how it works

Allows the latch bolt to be retracted electrically for momentary or maintained periods of time from a remote location. The exit device bolt remains retracted for as long as the device is energized. Removal of power returns the device to live safely, self-latching mechanical mode. Easy interface with central or local fire alarm systems, automatic door operators, hands-free actuation devices, and access control systems. Allows free egress at all times.

The operation

The exit device allows free egress at all times, Activating the interior or exterior pushbutton retracts the latch bolt in the device and the door automatically opens. The door closes and relatches after the hold open time has elapsed in the operator.
