This patented Concealed Door Loop (CDL) offers an economical solution for transferring low voltage power from the door frame to the locking device. Unlike typical door loops that are surface-mounted and always visible, the CDL retracts into the door and/or frame, remaining completely hidden when the door is closed. It is suitable for Continuous and Butt hinge applications, including full mortise, half mortise, or half surface types with a standard throw. The CDL is often used in situations where Electric Transfer Hinges (ETH) are too costly and surface door loops are not preferred.
