Rockwood 2601-AB Coordinator-Mounting Brackets for Soffit Applied Hardware, For Stop Applied Hardware, Prevents Disabling The Coordinator By Fasteners Passing Through The Housing, Black Powder

The Rockwood 2601-AB Coordinator-Mounting Bracket is designed to support soffit-applied hardware installations on pairs of doors, providing a secure base for mounting accessories without compromising the coordinator's performance. Its key advantage is preventing the coordinator from being disabled by fasteners that would otherwise pass directly through the housing. Finished in a durable black powder coat, this bracket offers both corrosion resistance and a clean appearance that blends with surrounding hardware. Ideal for use with surface-mounted door closers, holders, and stops, the 2601-AB helps ensure proper door sequencing and reliable operation in commercial openings where coordinated door closing is required.

Functional Details

The bracket relocates the mounting point for soffit applied hardware so that fasteners anchor into the bracket rather than through the coordinator housing. This protects the internal mechanism and keeps the coordinator functioning as intended during door operation.
