The Sargent 12-55-8813-F-ETJ is a Grade 1 fire rated rim exit device built for classroom applications where secure, reliable egress is essential. Designed for doors measuring 33 to 36 inches wide, it pairs the 8800 series rim mechanism with ET trim and the J lever for comfortable, code-compliant operation. The classroom function (8813) allows outside access to be controlled by key while free egress is always maintained from the inside. Functional Details
