Functional Details

Electric latch retraction energizes a motor or solenoid to pull back the latch, enabling push/pull operation and remote unlocking through a building access control system. Because the device is fail-safe, interrupting power automatically unlocks the outside lever trim, ensuring the door can be opened during a power failure. The push bar always allows free egress from the inside.

Arm Type Details
