Functional Details

This device uses the 8873 night latch (J) function with ETB lever trim. Electric Latch Retraction electrically pulls back the latchbolt, enabling push/pull operation or integration with automatic operators and access control systems. On the fail-safe configuration, loss of power releases the latch retraction and unlocks the outside lever to permit entry.
