The Sargent 12-8715-F-ETB-96 is a fire rated surface vertical rod exit device built for demanding commercial openings up to 96 inches in height and door widths from 33 to 36 inches. Configured with passage (exit only) function, it allows free egress at all times while the ETB trim provides outside access with a B lever design. As a fire rated device, it comes less dogging to meet code requirements on fire-rated door assemblies. Functional Details
The passage (exit) function provides unrestricted egress through the device at all times, while the outside ET trim lever retracts the latches to allow entry when permitted. Because the device is fire rated, it is supplied less dogging to keep the latches engaged under fire conditions.

Arm Type Details
This exit device uses a surface vertical rod configuration, with top and bottom rods that engage strikes at the head and sill of the door frame. When the push bar is actuated, both rods retract simultaneously to release the door, offering secure two-point latching ideal for taller openings.
