Functional Details

The storeroom (12/06) function provides secure, key-controlled access from the outside while permitting unrestricted egress through the exit device at all times.

• Outside trim is always locked.
• Key retracts the latch for momentary access; the latch relocks when the key is released.

Arm Type Details

This is a surface mounted vertical rod exit device. Depressing the push bar simultaneously retracts both the top and bottom latch bolts, releasing the door, and the vertical rods secure the door at the top and bottom of the frame for added fire and security performance.

Included Components

The device ships with the 8700 series vertical rod chassis, ETB lever trim, surface mounted top and bottom rods and latches, and mounting hardware. A cylinder is not included and must be ordered separately.
