Functional Details

The storeroom function (type 06) keeps the exterior trim continuously locked, requiring a key to unlock the latch from the outside. The inside lever or push rail always permits free egress, and the latch returns to the locked state after each use.

• Outside trim is always locked.
• Key unlocks the latch bolt momentarily to allow entry.
• Free egress at all times from the inside.
• Latch automatically relocks when the door closes.

Arm Type Details

This device uses surface-mounted vertical rods that engage latch points at both the top and bottom of the door. When the push rail is depressed, both rods retract simultaneously to release the door for egress, then re-engage when the door closes.
