Functional Details

Electric latch retraction uses an internal motor to pull the latch bolt back electronically, allowing the door to be released or pushed open without manual operation of the push bar. When paired with fail-secure trim, the outside lever remains locked whenever power is interrupted, and valid egress from the inside is always available.
