Functional Details

Electric latch retraction uses an internal motor to withdraw the latchbolt when energized, enabling push/pull access or coordinated entry from access control systems. When de-energized in this fail secure configuration, the latch projects and the outside lever stays locked while free egress is always available from the inside.
