Functional Details

The classroom function (F84) locks and unlocks the outside lever by key, while the inside lever remains free at all times for safe egress. The built-in Request to Exit switch adds monitoring capability, notifying an access control system whenever the interior lever is turned.

• Latchbolt operated by lever from either side except when outside lever is locked by key.
• When outside lever is locked, latchbolt is retracted by key in outside lever or by rotating inside lever.
