Functional Details

The 8245 dormitory/exit function allows the outside lever or knob to be locked and unlocked by key, while the deadbolt is thrown and retracted by key from the outside or by turn unit from the inside. Rotating the inside lever retracts both the latchbolt and deadbolt simultaneously for immediate free egress at all times.
