Functional Details

The ETL electric latch retraction function uses a motor to withdraw the latch bolts electrically, letting the door be pushed or pulled open without operating the exit device by hand. When power is applied, the latches retract and hold until power is removed, at which point the device returns to its fail secure latched state.
