Functional Details

The ETL (Electric Latch Retraction) function electrically retracts the latch bolts, allowing the door to be pushed or pulled open without operating the trim. In fail secure mode, removing power leaves the outside trim locked, requiring a valid credential or key for entry while free egress is always available from the inside.
