Functional Details

The storeroom function (56) keeps the outside lever continuously locked. Entry requires a key, and the latch is retracted by the key only; the outside lever is always fixed. Free egress is always available from the inside by pushing the touchbar.

Arm Type Details

This device uses a surface-mounted vertical rod assembly. Depressing the touchbar simultaneously retracts the top and bottom latch bolts, releasing the door at two points for secure, code-compliant operation on fire rated openings.
