Functional Details

The storeroom function provides secure access control from the exterior while allowing uninterrupted free egress through the push pad. The outside lever remains locked and requires a key to retract the latch; the latch returns to the locked state when released, and the key cannot be left to hold the lever unlocked.

• Outside lever is always rigid/locked.
• Latchbolt retracted by key from outside or by lever/pad from inside.
• Free egress at all times by operating the exit device push pad.

Arm Type Details

This device uses a surface-mounted vertical rod mechanism. Depressing the push pad simultaneously retracts the top and bottom latches, releasing the door; the rods automatically relatch when the door returns to the closed position, securing both the head and sill of the frame.

Included Components

The device ships with the exit device chassis, top and bottom surface vertical rods and latches, and the ETJ lever trim. A mortise cylinder is not included and must be ordered separately.
