The Sargent NB-8774-J-ETB-96-24V is a Grade 1 NB8700 top-latching surface vertical rod exit device, less bottom rod for 37 to 42-inch door widths and 96-inch door height. This configuration is non-fire-rated panic hardware. It is supplied with ETB electrified trim and the B lever design.

  • 37 to 42-inch door width; 96-inch door height.
  • Single-point top latching; no bottom rod or bottom strike.
  • Hex key dogging for the non-fire-rated configuration.
  • ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1.

Function 74 is Fail Secure electrified ET trim operation. At 24VDC, power off locks the outside lever. The pushbar mechanically retracts the latch for egress independently of the electrical state of the outside trim.

No Cylinder. This function uses no cylinder and is not a less-cylinder preparation requiring a separately purchased cylinder. Cylinder override is not available with NB8700 Series devices.
