The Sargent RX-10XG05-LMW-24V-KD is a Grade 1 cylindrical lever lock built for high-traffic commercial openings that require both secure access and monitored egress. Configured for Entrance or Office function, it lets you lock or unlock the outside lever from inside while providing free egress at all times. The integrated Request-to-Exit (RX) switch signals access control or alarm systems when the inside lever is operated, making it ideal for facilities that track door usage. This unit features the MW lever on an L rose, a 2-3/4" backset, a 4-7/8" strike, and 24V operation, paired with an LA keyway and two keyed-random keys for reliable, code-compliant performance.

Functional Details

The Entrance or Office function allows the outside lever to be locked or unlocked from the inside, while the inside lever always retracts the latch for free egress. The Request-to-Exit switch activates when the inside lever is turned, sending a signal that can shunt an alarm or notify the access control system that an authorized exit has occurred.
