Functional Details

The RX-8271 electro mechanical Fail Secure function is intended for controlled openings where the lock must release when power is interrupted. In this single cylinder configuration, the lock body works with access control systems while also providing request to exit signaling from the inside lever. The field reversible design helps installers change handing without ordering a separate lock body.
