Functional Details
The ND40S privacy function is operated by a push button on the inside rose. Pressing the button locks the outside lever, while the inside lever remains free for immediate egress. Closing the door does not release the button, and the outside can be unlocked in an emergency with the appropriate privacy release. Rotation of the inside lever releases the button and unlocks the outside lever.
