The Schlage ND44S-TLR Cylindrical Hospital Privacy Lock is engineered for healthcare environments where controlled patient privacy and quick staff access are essential. Part of Schlage's rugged ND Series, this Grade 1 non-keyed lockset features the Tubular Lever (TLR) design and a hospital privacy function that can be locked from the inside and released from the outside using a special turn. Built with a 2-3/4 inch backset and a 4-7/8 inch strike, it is non-handed for simplified installation on doors of either swing. Its heavy-duty cylindrical chassis delivers dependable performance in demanding commercial and institutional settings.

The hospital privacy function (ND44S) provides secure privacy while allowing authorized staff to gain access from the outside without a key. The interior is locked by a push or turn button, and the exterior can be released with an emergency turn for patient safety.
