ADA Saddle Thresholds

New ADA Thresholds are limited to a height of ½” in new construction. The maximum height for existing or altered thresholds with a beveled edge on both sides is a maximum height of ¾”. If there are beveled edges on each side the slope must not be steeper than 1:2 to provide a smooth transition for all doors, including sliding doors.
