The Durulite industrial door stands as the most robust traffic door in the industry, renowned for its durability, easy maintenance, and extended service life. This versatile door meets the demands of diverse applications, ranging from the daily challenges of forklift traffic and refrigerated environments to USDA and washdown requirements.
The exceptional strength of the Durulite industrial door stems from its rotationally molded polyethylene construction. Standard impact resistance tests show that this material is five times more puncture-resistant and three times more flexible than ABS material. The door's corrosion-resistant panel, free from gaps and joint seams, is perfectly suited for environments requiring frequent washdowns.

Features
Door Panel
This industrial door is lightweight at only 3.5 pounds per square foot, making it easy to open and ensuring smooth operation. It facilitates the safe movement of personnel and equipment without damage. The door panel has a total thickness of 1-7/8 inches and a skin thickness of 1/4 inch, and it can be customized up to dimensions of 10' x 10'. Its rotationally molded polyethylene outer skin maintains its properties down to -40°F.
Insulated Core
The door features a non-CFC urethane core that is foamed in place and permanently bonded to the outer surface. This core remains intact upon impact, offers noise reduction, and provides excellent insulation with an R-value of 10.83.
Internal Reinforcement
Both the leading and back edges of the door are internally reinforced with tubular steel to enhance the door panel's strength.
Gasketing
The door is equipped with durable, USDA-accepted gasketing that is applied at the factory without metal strips or fasteners, making it simple to replace on site.
Upper Hinge
It includes a double-acting v-cam hinging system that operates smoothly and requires minimal maintenance, thanks to its permanently lubricated needle bearing roller assembly. An optional stainless steel hinge is also available.
Bottom Hinge
The bottom hinge is built for extra strength and durability, featuring a pillow block constructed from zinc-plated ductile iron (with a stainless steel option), a UHMW sleeve, and a solid cast aluminum lower hinge adapter. This adapter also allows for the addition of an optional spring assist.
Window
The door features a 1/8 inch thick polycarbonate window with a black frame, recessed at least 1/8 inch from the panel face to minimize abrasion from passing loads.
