The LCN 4010-18-689 Drop Plate is a heavy-duty mounting adapter designed specifically for use with the LCN 4010 Series surface closer in commercial and institutional applications. Engineered for narrow top rail and flush ceiling conditions, this drop plate is required when the door’s top rail measures less than 3-3/4" (95 mm) and requires a minimum 2" (51 mm) rail for secure installation. Constructed from durable steel and finished in 689 (US28) Aluminum Painted for a clean matte silver appearance, the 4010-18-689 ensures proper closer mounting while maintaining ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 performance when paired with the 4010 closer.
