The Sargent 12-8813-F-ETB is a Grade 1 fire rated rim exit device built for demanding commercial openings that need reliable egress and classroom-level access control. Designed for doors measuring 33 to 36 inches wide, it pairs the durable 8800 Series exit device chassis with the ETB trim, featuring the B lever for comfortable, ADA-friendly operation. Functional Details
The classroom function allows free egress from the inside at all times by depressing the push rail, while the outside lever is controlled by a mortise cylinder. Turning the key retracts the latch for momentary entry, giving staff control over who enters the room without ever restricting the exit path.

Arm Type Details
