The Sargent 12-8813-G-ETB is a Grade 1 fire rated rim exit device built for busy commercial openings that demand reliable egress and secure access control. Designed to fit doors measuring 43 to 48 inches wide, this device operates in Classroom function, allowing entry from the outside using a key while free egress is always available from the inside. It pairs with the ET trim and B lever handle for comfortable, ADA-compliant operation. As a fire rated unit, it ships less dogging to maintain a positive latch under fire conditions, and it is supplied less cylinder so you can specify the keying that fits your facility.

Functional Details
In Classroom (13) function, the outside lever is controlled by a key, letting authorized users lock or unlock the lever from the exterior. The interior push bar always retracts the latch for immediate egress, which is essential in a fire rated application.
