The Sargent 12-LC-8706-G-ETL-84 is a fire rated surface vertical rod exit device engineered for demanding commercial openings. Functional Details

The ETL storeroom function keeps the outside lever continuously locked, requiring a key to retract the latch and gain entry. The latch returns to the locked state automatically after each use, while free egress is always available from the inside by pushing the touchbar.

Arm Type Details

This device uses surface-mounted vertical rods that run along the face of the door to top and bottom latch points. When the touchbar is depressed, both rods retract simultaneously, releasing the door for exit, then automatically re-latch when the door closes.
