Hex key dogging allows the device to be held in a push-pull state for scheduled free passage, while the "less cylinder" designation lets you match the lock to your existing keying system. Functional Details

The Classroom function allows the outside lever to be locked or unlocked by key, while the Request to Exit switch sends a signal each time the device is operated from the inside, letting connected security systems recognize authorized egress and shunt alarms accordingly.
