The Sargent 55-8813-G-ETL is a Grade 1 rim exit device built for high-traffic commercial openings up to 48 inches wide. Designed for classroom function with ET control and the L lever trim, it allows secured access from the outside while permitting free egress at all times. The integrated 55 Request to Exit (REX) switch signals door activity to access control and alarm systems, making it well suited for secure facilities. Hex key dogging lets staff hold the pushbar retracted for push-pull operation during peak periods. Supplied less cylinder, it offers flexible keying to match existing hardware across your building.

Functional Details

Classroom function allows the outside lever to be locked or unlocked by key, while the inside pushbar always permits free egress. The 55 Request to Exit option monitors egress activity electronically to coordinate with the building's security system.

Arm Type Details
