Functional Details

The storeroom function keeps the outside lever locked at all times, requiring key access from the exterior, while the inside push bar always allows free egress. Electrification of the trim lets the lever be released remotely through an access control system.

Arm Type Details

This is a surface vertical rod (SVR) configuration, with top and bottom latch rods mounted to the door face. When the push bar is depressed, both rods retract simultaneously to release the door, and they re-engage automatically on closing to secure the opening at two points.

The device includes the 8700 series fire rated chassis, surface mounted vertical rods with top and bottom latches, and the ETP electrified Gramercy (G) lever trim. A cylinder is not included and must be ordered separately.
