Functional Details

The 8875 night latch (G) function keeps the outside trim rigid at all times, with the latchbolt retracted by key from the outside. With the electric latch retraction feature, applying 24V to the device retracts the latch electrically, allowing push/pull operation or integration with an automatic operator. In the fail safe configuration, the latch retracts or releases when power is interrupted.

Trim Details

The ETB trim is a thumbpiece-style night latch trim. In the night latch function, the outside lever or thumbpiece is used with a key to retract the latch for entry, while the inside push bar provides free egress at all times.

Because this device ships less cylinder, a compatible mortise cylinder must be ordered separately to complete the outside key-retraction function.
