Functional Details

Electric latch retraction allows the exit device latch to be withdrawn electrically, enabling remote operation and push/pull access during business hours. In the fail-safe mode, the device unlocks automatically when power is removed, ensuring the opening remains accessible for egress and emergency situations. When energized at 24V, the motor-driven mechanism retracts and holds the latch for dogged-free remote operation.
