The Sargent 60-775-8-ETMD-12V is a Grade 1 electrified exit device trim engineered for secure access control on 80 Series exit devices. Built around a 12-volt fail-safe design, this trim defaults to an unlocked state when power is lost, making it well suited for applications where free egress and emergency access are priorities. It features ET control with the MD lever and accommodates a Sargent large format interchangeable core (LFIC), shipped less core so facilities can key it to an existing system. The key-retracts-latch function allows mechanical override at the lever, giving building managers reliable, controlled entry in both powered and unpowered conditions.

Functional Details

As a fail-safe electrified trim, the outside lever is unlocked when voltage is applied and remains unlocked on power loss, allowing entry without a key during an outage. When secured, the key retracts the latch so authorized users can gain access mechanically.
