The Sargent 60-776-8-ETNJ-12V is a Grade 1 electrified exit device trim engineered for secure access control applications on 80 Series exit devices. Built for a 12V fail secure configuration, this trim keeps the outside lever locked until power is applied, making it well suited for controlled-entry doors in commercial and institutional settings. It features the ET control design with the NJ lever and is prepped for a large format interchangeable core (LFIC), shipped less core so you can match your existing keying system. A keyed override lets authorized users retract the latch mechanically, adding a reliable backup when needed.

Functional Details

In fail secure mode, the outside trim remains locked during a power loss, requiring either valid electrical access or a key to gain entry. When energized, the trim unlocks to allow access, and free egress is always available from the inside through the exit device.
