The Sargent 70-775-8-ETL-24V is a Grade 1 electrified exit device trim built for use with Sargent 80 Series exit devices in high-traffic commercial and institutional openings. Configured as a 24V fail safe unit, this trim defaults to unlocked status when power is lost, making it well suited for applications where free egress and access control must be maintained during a power interruption. It features the ET control with the L lever design and is prepped to accept a small format interchangeable core (SFIC), shipped less core so facilities can key it to their existing system. A key retracts latch function adds mechanical override for authorized users.

Functional Details

As a fail safe electrified trim, the outside lever is electrically locked when power is applied and becomes unlocked when power is removed, allowing entry from the exterior side during a power loss. The key retracts latch feature lets an authorized user retract the latchbolt with a key regardless of electrical status.
