Functional Details

In a fail-safe configuration, the trim unlocks when power is removed, allowing the outside lever to retract the latch for entry. When powered, the trim remains secured until an authorized credential or key is used. The key retracts latch feature lets a cylinder key mechanically pull the latch independent of electrical control.
