The Sargent 70-776-8-ETB-24V is a Grade 1 electrified exit device trim built for use with Sargent 80 Series exit devices in secure access control applications. Operating on 24V DC in a fail secure configuration, this trim keeps the outside lever locked during a power loss, maintaining building security until valid credentials or a key are presented. It features the ET control with the B lever design and comes prepped for a small format interchangeable core (SFIC), shipped less core so facilities can key it to their existing system. A key override retracts the latch, giving authorized personnel reliable manual access when needed.

Functional Details

In fail secure operation, the outside lever remains locked when power is removed, and access is granted only when the trim is energized or a key is used to retract the latch. Egress from the push side is always free via the exit device.

Included Components
