The Sargent 70-776-8-ETMI-12V is an electrified exit device trim engineered for secure access control applications on 80 Series exit devices. Operating on 12V DC in a fail secure configuration, this trim keeps the outside lever locked during a power loss, allowing entry only through valid credentials or a mechanical key. It features the ET (escutcheon) control housing paired with the MI lever design and includes an SFIC (small format interchangeable core) prep, shipped less core so you can match your existing keying system. Built to Grade 1 standards, it delivers the durability and reliability expected in high-traffic commercial and institutional environments.

Functional Details

In fail secure mode, the trim remains locked during a power outage, maintaining security on the opening. When energized by a valid signal, the lever retracts the latch to permit access; a mechanical key also retracts the latch for manual override.
